The PCCC “Panther Place” is a diverse platform where all students can share their thoughts and also listen to what other students share. This inclusivity is vital in a diverse educational setting such as PCCC, where students come from various backgrounds and possess different perspectives. The discussion forums enable students to pose questions, share insights, and engage in meaningful dialogue on multiple topics. These can be academic questions or something as simple as selling course books that might benefit other students. “Panther Place” can be found on the PCCC homepage under the Student Services heading.
This platform is highly user–friendly and can easily be navigated by students. A platform like Panther Place is essential in an institution like PCCC because some students may not feel comfortable interacting and asking other students questions in person. However, Panther Place limits, if not eliminates social anxiety. This fosters a sense of inclusivity and interaction in our school.
Students can also voice concerns that are specifically targeted at the Student Government through this platform. Students can also frequently check the portal for updates on upcoming events and other insightful information that may be shared.
Panther Place also promotes daily positivity for students who need it by inspiring words of affirmation and uploading ambitious quotes by staff members daily. Students should embrace the privilege of having this platform to further their educational journey and embrace the full depth of student life, experience, and success.
