PTK 'Taste The World' Bake Sale by Jadelyn Villa

On Wednesday, October 9th, from 10 am to 3 pm, Phi Theta Kappa's PCCC Chapter Alpha Eta Chi held a bake sale by the Founders Hall Bridge and in the Broadway Gallery (Founders Hall Bridge pictured.) Since the chapter frequently experiments with fun themes, this one was titled "Taste The World," featuring desserts from around the globe! The array featured items

from Central and South America, Europe, and Africa, as well as classic North American sweets. PTK also recently began incorporating online/mobile payments due to popular demand. This new way to pay is via digital wallet services such as Cashapp and Zelle in pursuit of widening the organization's market.

In addition to the bake sale, PTK also advertised the 9th annual 5k Run/Walk for Completion, which will be taking place next Saturday, October 19th. This yearly tradition works in collaboration between Phi Theta Kappa and the PCCC Foundation to promote academic achievement among our student body. All proceeds from the event go toward the Foundation for student Completion Scholarships. Check-in for the race is at 7:00 am, while the race begins promptly at 8:30 am.
