Strawberry Day With The Environmental Club by Jeffrey Bellido & Paul Angel Perdomo

On February 27th, The Environmental Club held a bake sale celebrating National Strawberry Day. Their Vice President Sayed Cortes detailed that the bake sale provides a variety of delicious sweets to fundraise for future collaborations and events, such as with the Pride

Club. This includes the club’s upcoming field trip to The American Museum of Natural History in New York City together with B2B.

They provided many goodies, such as brownies, cookies, cakes, and jelly made by Treasurer Andrick. The Environmental Club wants to welcome students and encourage them to help protect the environment even if it's in small ways, like using recycled bags instead of new plastic bags. Their biggest dreams are creating a rooftop garden for the college and allow students to plant their own crops and flowers, and advocate for healthier menu options in the cafeteria.

Are you interested in helping out the planet and all who inhabit in it? Come and join the Environmental Club here at Passaic County Community College! President Enzo is on the search for more members. The club has no GPA or program requirements, and their hours are on Tuesdays from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
