Welcome Back Panthers! A Message from SGA President Tiffany Guerrero

Welcome Back Panthers!

This is Tiffany Guerrero, your new incoming Student Government Association (SGA) President. SGA is proud to announce that we have two full branches for the second year in a row! On August 13th, the SGA held our annual oath ceremony where incoming members, including myself, took our oath to serve you, the PCCC student body, for the entire academic year. SGA would like to thank everyone who attended our oath ceremony! This included Phi Theta Kappa and their Advisors, Professor Gasparino and Professor Perales, Associate Dean of Student Affairs Evelyn Ortega, Professor/Director of Adult Education Winster D. Ceballos, and The Center for Student Engagement staff.

I was the Vice President of SGA in the previous year, so some of you may already know me. I am so excited to be returning as the President. I am very thankful for all the students who voted for me and trusted me to be the upcoming president. Lastly, I would like to say thank you to my advisor Ian Wolf, Assistant Dean for Student Engagement, former SGA President Sure Aygun, and special thank you to former advisor Rafaela Ramirez, who guided me throughout last year about the importance of student engagement and advocacy. I will be continuing Sure's legacy of what she advocated for the students. I am grateful to have been surrounded by a team of mentors to guide me and I will work to improve PCCC with all that they have taught me.

A little bit about me: This academic year it will be my second year here at PCCC. I will be graduating in the Spring semester with my associate's degree in business administration. After getting my associate's degree, I will be transferring to a four-year university and major in marketing. I am very excited to keep working with PTK, Athletics, the Wellness Center, and all other departments to keep PCCC thriving.
